EEC's Professional Qualifications On-line Registry Goes Live

EEC has implemented an on-line version of its Professional Qualifications Registry for practitioners seeking teacher, lead teacher, or director certificates from EEC. Over 100 applicants for EEC certification have applied on-line since the system went live in mid-October. This free service enables practitioners to:

The Professional Qualifications Registry is an important first step as EEC's workforce initiative moves toward more comprehensive electronic services for the practitioners in the early education and care community. Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies strengthen the child care delivery system while making it more responsive to the needs of local families. Your local CCR&R works with child care providers to increase the availability and affordability of quality child care by:

  • Training Needs Assessment
  • Offering free referral services
  • Supporting professional growth and development through a wide range of trainings, conferences, CEU and college courses
  • Encouraging and supporting accreditation
  • Managing child care subsidy programs
  • Providing technical assistance to providers including program start-up
